Modding Help / Valve Hammer Editor BUG?!

So i just started up valve hammer editor (3.5) today and seeing my models have been *hided* and instead of them are blue blocks on the map.... so i need to see those models because the textures what i use have shadows of objects in them and i need to adjust models for those shadows... anyone can help me? thanks in advance! :)

I needed to reinstall machine because something started to eat my HDD space like hog.
Aaaand i reinstalled everything saved my map and trying to compile it when i made some modifications what i need to see.
THEN i realise i cant compile

so when i want to compile with the VHE

Tonight i want to play with my friend with recb.. BUT with something new what we never tried... NO RESPAWN i mean only respawn when 1 ink ribbon is at our hands. So anyone knows the cons codes for it????? (if anyone wants to join its not a problem) so anyone knows the console command for it? thanks

Hey Guys its me again (thanks for all prev helps).So here im sitting at my desk again and thinking about how to fix this. Im just STARTED to make the cemetery in my map (so its like 5% done) and its having problems with texture usage (4.00 mb just?????) and now i cant even test my map because of too much texture usage so if anybody can help me out in this fearful situation i be really happy with it.Thanks guys if anyone answer this.

If i watch closely i see this is source engine OR more modded hl1 (what i cant belive). So what do you think guys maybe they going to convert that mod into a hl2 mod??? (I should immideately stop RECV to hl1 and start doing it for hl2) anyone knows something or everyone is stuck at the same informed state as me????

The reason i wrote here is because maybe i get some complete answers im kinda afraid because of no info, i dont want map that recv into an outdated mod if recbb3 comes out in hl2.(i dont say that would be bad... D: That would be the MOST AWESOMEST THING CAN HAPPEN WITH RECB)

Cry of Fear Technical Help and Support / Game is unplayable for me

Main menu blurs white (i turned off water shader, ripples and turned off blur)
in game the mouse in the item menu is wrong cant select nothing and the buttons flashing
Lights like phone light not working

Im using now Win7 Prof N.

I installed reinstalled the game and mod twice and nothing worked i need help pls. Thanks

i just walktr almost all residents (BUT played with all of them)
Walkt trough all silent hills (excpt ps2 and wii sh episodes)

i just watched RECB from the first time. I even bought half life for it (and yeeeeea they DID cof for hl1 too i didnt need to buy another game :D )

So some questions just formed from my mind i think.Ill just write em' down.Maybe they Saw this :)
Why recb was discontinued and stopped?
what happened with the Inventory System? (i saw some vids at that time about an inventory system what was good for combining equipping i dont remember check but maybe that too)
What is that Cof Like graphics in it? (i saw some videos of recb with a very good Shadow graphics and UV maps of textures but that thing never released too),
I hope some of the Devs will see this and answer me i dont say recb NEED TO BE CONTINUED if they dont want to continue it they dont do it and that.But anyways why is these things just disappeared?

Modding Help / What is the easyest method to assign a model?

Hey guys my M93r is ready so i modelled it and assigned the textures then decompiled the original v_beretta
I found the model at Ref2.mdl
Soooooo anybody can help how can i assign the model to it for success?
Because i tried to assign the slide to slide and everything the model just not show up.
And scaling is good and everything else :S anybody can help my im be really thankful (as soon its finishes i release the weapon ill uploadit somewhere)

I was doing this little room too long.
Im a starter mapper/modeler aaand i just tought why not recreate some Resident evil stuff into Recb

heres the pictures from Prison (i think too that went is ugly but i dont want to make more time to it :S its stays that way)

The reason i call this a "MOD" because im going to make some weapons in it and maybe retexture and re edit recb zombies (Not my models) to look alike in the game.

Modding Help / The knife cant stand in the desk :( Why?

im just did the first rooom OOOOHYEEAAAA
But theres a problem... The Knife. what i put on the desk not stays there.... i got Clip texture on the desk but Nothing :S
How can i do to make it stay on the desk? :S

PS:I know im crying here for help for the most but  i hope its not a probleme THANKS anyway :D

Hey guys me again.
I got the first room ALMOST completed (some models missing like 5 pieces of them)
So my Valve Hammer Editor shows up 2 windows its not showing 4 like in the old times when i try to instert env_light or light_glow NOTHING HAPPENS map STAYS COMPLETELY FULLY LIGHTED and not just a "little" light as i planned (almost dark but a little gray light from surface) SO can anyone help? i can attach my map and models and ANYthing if you can guys can help me Thanks! :)

I did the first room of my map everything LOOKS good.But simply when i just walk around i can walk around the table the sack and even the chairs :S what did i missed?
