hey ruMpel, if you're working on another survival horror game including the suicide co-op mode from COF, i'd definitely send loads of money your way just to get your team supported. love the game a lot!

Hehe thanks for your kindness <3 But not at the moment no, unless your money can make me a living without having to work ;)

Thanks guys.

It will probably be a different engine. Probably Unreal or Unity. Most likely Unreal.

I'm here checking the forums at least once a week, it'd be nice with a reunion on Skype and play some games :joebiden:

EURO gets automatically converted to USD, and Spreadshirt ships to almost every country in the world. Try to place an order and see what happens, you don't have to pay or anything. You can just cancel it if you don't want it.

Sounds good, will you ever put the CoF soundtrack on Spotify?

It's already there. :yow:

First of, welcome to the forums :)

I'm not quite sure what else you expected during that time as the team has stated quite clearly after the most recent patch back in the day was the final addition to Cry of Fear.

The amount of material that is open to the public currently is all that we are allowed to share, and any problems still present in the current build are unfixable due to our own limited access or simply that Half Life 1 is a very old game and doesn't quite manage to keep up with current day software.

The donations button will still be open if somebody wishes to donate because they liked the game, but the game itself is no longer being worked on and no patches are coming in the future from the team.

Thanks Stig! Pretty much exactly what he said.

Just found this fan animation.

It's a remake of the first encounter with a slower, though the slower model is completely different.

That was awesome! Thanks for linking it!

Afraid of Monsters remake won't probably ever come out. Only if we have our own studio with people working on it full time with payment. And that is a pretty hard achievement.

However, the AoM remaster, called AoM: Dark Assistance, might come out this or next year. It's still the same 'ol AoM in GoldSrc, but with co-op, some new features and some improved graphics.

It's weird, but looking at all the content that people are posting on this thread, I really realize how much work it takes just to make a small yet detailed room, or a brief cutscene. In high school, there are kids that say that they want to "make the next GTA or CoD", yet don't realize the level of commitment and technical know-how to make something that the player can just blaze through in like a minute. Looking at the immense level of originality and enjoyable content in Cry of Fear, it's a wonder that Team PsykSkallar was able to make all that in just four years.
