Finally managed to donate (couldnt due to weird austrian paypal guidelines) - is it still possible to get the TMP ingame or am i too late ?

Well, I think most of us developers have been in that situation. I've had many projects going to the trash bin because I lost my inspiration and wanted to do someting else. But I think that's a part of the learning process when making games. I'm just speaking from my point of view but I think there are others who feel the same. I've learned that it is important to believe in your project and never give up working on it even if you don't really feel like it. The inspiration always goes up and down, but instead of having multiple half finished projects it's better to make someting polished and done. :)

I know the feeling that everything you make should be unique and new, but that is a very hard task to do and often you'll just stand still in the production when thinking like that to much. In fact you'll always get inspiration from somewhere when you create stuff, i.e. I like the atmosphere from the Silent Hill series and I like the monster designs so my game will have some kind of resemblance of those games.

When it comes to the story you can always work on it in different angles. Me myself have a hard time to nail my story in the beginning, it kind of comes alongside my creation of scenes in the game. I get inspiration from 3d assets I make and so on. The further I make progress in the production the pieces of the puzzle comes together.

What I want to say is, work on you game in the way it works for you, don't strive to be too unique because it's pretty pointless and will make the production very slow.

Yeah, the enemies who are shooting, are called "suiciders". They are meant to blow up and cause major damage once shooting themselves, but for some reason, they are not causing any damage. :barry:
