I am doing a mod in the future for COF, and it requires custom models from MMD.

The thing is, its archetype is a bit scattered, and I was curious if there were anyone, or any program, able to automatically or manually convert Miku Miku Dance Models to Half Life 1 ( Non source) Models for use in custom modeling, mapping, ect.

I know I have been asking only tutoirals most of the time, but I am not active often and wanted to get this asked before the SDK came out so I can convert my progress of my custom story.

maybe 3ds max , it has the ability to import/export a lots of model types one of them is hl mdl
but you need the "Miku Miku Dance Models " to be in a type where you can import them in max first

he said that it's a mod , not CC
and true n it does sound weird coz miku is totally not related to Cof

nope , that only in case he want to get into the competition
but there is also that the dev said that they didn't release the source code so ppl can mode the game

We are NOT allowing anyone to use content from Cry of Fear in their own mods. We only allow people to use the CoF content to Cry of Fear itself, to for example mappacks and such. Hence why we haven't released the source code.
rumple meant that you can't steal stuff from Cof and put it in your mod
but only if the mod is in Cof
anyway they still didn't release the source code so this conversation is pretty mush useless

If I may settle some controversy around my request.

It is a Custom Campaign, the word just slipped my mind.

Its not involving Miku , rather the charter model of choice is in MMD format.

3ds Max aint as friendly as I thought to MMD.

To start, though I have the files, it doesn't recognize the texture mapping- at all.

Second, it seems a little complex for my taste.

And Finally, I think I can work around the custom modeling for the " Contest Release" and Maybe Commison some model maker or programers to kink out the custom bosses  :yow: .

Save for unless someone round these parts knows how to convert MMD To MDL, I guess I will have to suffice with substitions and what not till somethin happens.

as far as i know . you can export to smd then use milkshape (witch is more simple then 3ds max) to edit the texture
then use jed's half life viewer to compile it to a HL1 model
