I saw a post on facebook a while ago that said "I want to move to Australia.  At least their president believes in God.  HE is a better runner of a country."

They have a Prime Minister, not a President
The Prime Minister is an Atheist

Nah, seriously, I understand gay marriage opponents who have religious motivation (though I don't share them), but any other political opposition is completely dumb, IMO...
