Depends on what you mean by complex, buddy. I do a lot of my stuff using a clipping tool, and that thing saves so much time.

I'm not sure if that's available on HL1 hammer as I've never mapped for it, but clipping can make some sexy brushes if done right.

Okay a few people like you can make source un-gay. I've been thinking of doing an amnesia mod called "The adventures of Franklin Rivers". I might include some new models but I don't know shit about modelling so I'll ask somebody who's amazing at modelling in amnesia.
Also, no barrels, stephano and teleporting naked guys jumpscares.

People making Source mods need to stop using stock content so much! I don't get why no one at least reskins those crates or trash props once in awhile...

They also use the HL2 trash props and rubbish decals, but I can let them off because of the sheer amount of custom stuff they've made...

May as well post this here, since we've scrapped this project. James and I were working on AoM Source, and this is what we made so far. I made 90% of the content in those screenshots.











Please don't spread this pictures around thinking we will finish this. It won't be finished, we haven't touched the project in months.
