Path of Exile is an online Action RPG set in the dark fantasy world of Wraeclast. We're a small independent team of hardcore gamers based in New Zealand and have created Path of Exile as the game that we'd want to play ourselves. It is designed around a strong barter-based online item economy, deep character customisation, competitive PvP and ladder races. The game is completely free and will never be "pay to win".

What are the hardware requirements for Path of Exile?

Path of Exile is designed to run on a huge variety of systems, from an everyday laptop to a top of the line gaming rig. Our detailed art is designed to not only look great, but also reveal additional detail as the resolution is increased to the maximum of 2560x1600. Exact system requirements will be determined closer to release. At the moment, you will need a Graphics Card with Pixel Shader 3.0 or higher, and a CPU that supports SSE2. At least 2GB of RAM is recommended, and older Integrated Graphics Cards will not run well.

Have been playing quite a bit during the closed beta myself, and now that it's gone into open beta and has been given a massive amount of improvements, I'll be playing it even more.

I've always been a "barbarian" (Marauder in POE) class type of player in this genre, but in this game I've enjoyed the Ranger (bow/ranged) class more.

If you like to build character and come up with new overpowered builds, then this game is perfect.

I mean there is just endless possibilities.



Creating builds in PoE is about 10 times more complex than in something like League of Legends... so if you like doing that, go nuzzz^^

Its a pretty nice game... I would even have to say probably better than Diablo 3. However, unless Diablo style games are your thing, you will still not like it.,

Its a more hardcore version of diablo baiscally...
...you cal literally put 1000s of hours into a character and then just die... and loose years of your life

I've played in PoE for a very long time, over a year. I currently have a break to Path of exile, but I'm thinking about going back to PoE. What do you think? Best shops to buy poe currency? I've heard about a few, poe.trade, PA and Odealo.com
