Level change fade in?

Okay, so whenever i make a level change it works, but the only problem is that it's a black screen for like 6 seconds and then fades out. It's exactly like the one in kirkville.

Any help would be appreciated. If you need anymore info just ask.  :joebiden:

Do you have the level fade in option disabled in Map Properties?

Hmm, that is strange.
And i'm guessing you're also using the already made level change prefab.

The only thing that might cause odd fading stuffs are usually entity stuff.
Maybe try isolating the entities and map properties that are being used for the map change and compare the already made CoF RMFs to check if there's anything that's different from yours.

Otherwise, i really don't know how to fix something like that.

Alright so it seems that my problem was having a "new level door sound". I'm not sure why the fuck that of all things was the problem, but ya know...  :yow:

Kinda sucks though, because now doors just don't have sounds when they close.

Hmm, that is odd.

I remember using custom door sounds for TSoS, so it definitely worked for me.

Are you sure the sounds are set correctly, 22khz and all?

The sound system in this mod is pretty much classic Goldsource stuff, so any tutorials on the matter would be pretty similar if not the same.

i was just using the CoF door sounds, nothing custom yet
