Many, MANY people are asking the same god damn question about VAC. It does NOT get you banned!
Do not listen to anyone about this other than us the developers. Do you remember the test we did before where we were playing on VAC servers with CoF installed? People say that you get banned after a while. Well, we tested it a couple of months ago. In fact, we test it every day! It simply does not get you banned!
What bans you is the bloom-modified opengl32.dll. Cry of Fear _DOES NOT_ have it installed. Do not worry about using our .dll. Go out, play on VAC servers and have fun!
