Co-op problem :S

Hey I got a problem, I want to play Co-op with a friend.
When I am starting a server and he try to join it says "Server not responding".
Please help.

Are your ports forwarded?

ports are something like a security lock and solong a port is not open onto your router the router firewall donīt will let any guys join your server because the door is close. that means for the windows firewall too.

hope you understand this

so when you go into your router setup over your internet explorer then go on "nat and port rules" and make "set a new nat and port rule" under network option. i think the port is 27015 for udp and tcp but more udp. i have not tested it yet but i hope it help you

be sure you have sv_lan on "0"

The problem can easily be helped by using a Local Network Application like Hamachi or such though
