How's everyone doing around here? Hope you're all doing well :yow:
Just came by to show you all my band's new logo, hope you like it :joebiden:

Oh and yes, you'll hear more from this in the future, I may have gone absent (work and all that stuff) but I still have fond memories from this place.

See you all later!

Hey everyone. I've been thinking about making a lengthy custom campaign for CoF. Do you guys think there's enough people still into the game for the time I spend on it to be worth it?

Of course! Even if at first time few people will play it, after some time, all those who met Cry of Fear for the first time get acquainted with your creation.

You could always go for double trouble, making a custom campaign that works for Cry of Fear while setting up the entities and textures for easy converting in the event that you want to make it more HL-mod/map like.

Interesting idea, I'll keep that in mind. Even if my campaign doesn't get much attention, I'll at least have the MP5. :yow:

That would look good on a t-shirt... but I have trouble reading what is says  :joebiden: Umbra maybe? I agree with you about the memories. This place was my homepage for so long. Being here makes me feel very nostalgic  ;D

E3 went by and ATM hype about METRO, evil within 2, and the new wolfenstein. Spiderman was pretty dope too.

A lot of work work work this summer. The weather has been pretty good in finland but the free time that i have has been spent with numerous games in my backlog.  :wheelchair:

My statue and figure collection has swollen in size and i need more space desperately  :stig: Maybe some cool glass displays with lights!

hopefully I didn't bother anyone here or be very off topic but
is it okay to post art here..? Sorry about this I don't wanna be a terrible person.

There is a thread for art but i don't think anybody would be upset for more art in any thread  ;D

I set up a discord real quick. https://discord.gg/x4DCQ3v

It's bare-bones, and I'm open to suggestions to what can be added and how it can be improved.

Add all the CoF emojis would be a fresh start. :joebiden:

Caught my eye and definitely agree with the person that Simon would be a perfect fit for Dead by Daylight, he already looks like he could be a legit Survivor in the game.  :barry:

Only real problem i see is coming up with 3 unique perks for Simon, since so far every other survivor has that going for them. The devs are also really close to releasing a new "chapter" which is basically a new map, a killer and a survivor combo. They also seem to be really slow to do anything related to adding content to the game, but hey! This might be a really good and easy way for them to get their Halloween content set up, maybe even throw in David Leatherhoff while at it?  :joebiden:

Also i would totally be down for some Kill Your Friends sometime, or if people don't yet have DbD, we'll grab it in the next sale and have a go at it then.

Some perk ideas thrown around with mikkomies: Simon having been in constant use with medicine makes him more proficient in using them, speeding up his healing time, but these come with slight negatives with higher ranks, causing Simon to experience Slight/Moderate/Considerable hallucinations, making his heartbeat not reliable.
Simons bag let's him carry an extra item with him into the trial, this item is Considerably/Moderately/Slightly less proficient.
After having written his own book, Simon is more proficient with the map, giving him the location of 3/4/5 generators at the start of the trial and his map reading range is twice as effective.
(this one is kind of iffy, couldn't come up with anything.)
