Help us report the new bugs!

We are working closely with Valve to fix the issues we're experiencing in Cry of Fear from the new Half-Life engine update. Help us identify them all, and I'll update this list that we will hand out to Valve personally.

Bugs Valve have to fix:

• Quitting VGUI disables mouse movement and makes player look 90 degrees up.
• PCs with Intel Graphics GPUs (integrated GPUs) has horrible rendering problems. This is caused by the opengl32.dll file in the Half-Life folder. The blur effect also makes it lag really much, which is why users might experience severe lag in the main menu.
• Keyboard input in VGUI is bound to the wrong keys and is generally messed up.
• User with old GPUs must use "-nofbo" in launch properties, otherwise the game will appear as a black screen and have other weird issues.
• User experiencing performance problems has to type gl_vsync 0 in the console in order to fix it.
• Mouse gets moved back to the center of the screen when you try to move your mouse at any direction in VGUI screens, making VGUI iterations impossible.

Bugs we have to fix:

• Donators are currently not detected as a donator.
• A new installer which installs in the common folder rather than in your username folder.

Please help us with this. The Half-Life community needs it.

if you're having performance problems open console and type gl_vsync 0

As for a bug to report, all of my unlocks disappeared. 

I can't type on the computer at the very beginning of the game, either. I was playing on 800x600, using the commands above. vidya of it

Rendering issues, and inability to see maps, and the 3d menu (which of course is a map)

Visible objects include, but are not restricted to:
3d menu text
2s menu text
First person weapon models
Inventory/VGUI ect.

I have exactly same problem that 'Baphy The Mets Fan' has

Problem with 3Dmenu screen, can't see anything in game.
Others are fine. I can shoot, run, jump or stuck on wall, or hit by enemy

Sewmo's are black now



Sometimes keypads register one click as two, I found it happens if you open the keypad, push a few buttons, close it, then open it again. The "5247" door would be clear of button presses if I exit and open but if I push a button two stars will appear.

I could be misremembering but when you dual wield the glock the crosshair goes as inaccurate as possible, jumping, crouching, or sprinting doesn't make the crosshair flinch. I have to get really close to things to hit them since it's highly inaccurate. I just remember the accuracy being degraded a little, not being to the max inaccuracy possible.

Whenever I close my inventory, the mouse sensitivity lowers to extreme amounts, and I have to press ESC every time to bring it back to normal

Cutscene triggers and scripted events refuse to work

Only problems ive faced are the black screen and vgui bugs. Black screen i fixed with -nofbo, and vgui is bearable.

well.. light textures dont work anymore, so the phones flashlight is broken, aswell as the cameraflash at the beginning, and dual wielding lets me have 3 hands. holy sh$( valve really fu§%%§ up... once again.

goddamnit valve... why would you want to play half-life on linux anyways. if you got linux, you know that you screwed up

Co-op isn't even co-op anymore because when spawning in a suicide map, you spawn as with absolutely no weapons, the timer is completely gone, and monstermakers spawn THREE TIMES as much!

Not in 16-Bit Mode, and besides, I never even use it.

What, the launcher? I use it everytime and the only bug i have is the vgui one. I swear i have the most working version of cry of fear after the update atm
