One Survivor
One Survivor is a horror game showcasing the Aleph One engine's basics.
A free tribute to the not-so-great Resident Evil: Gun Survivor, it's going to be short but atmospheric and intriguing.

Plot
Story

You awaken on the cold surface of tarmac. You have just fallen from the roof of a building, that is obvious by the smashed mobile-phone next to you, and the pool of blood that has leaked from your fore-head. But why is a pistol here? A pistol with no ammunition.
No-one is around, the world is silent. You stand up to leave. It is mid-night, the sky is dark, just ahead are boxes and a fence, holding you into the perimeter.
There is only One way to leave. Follow the pathways into darkness...
Oddly, this is familiar to you, as if it were from an old dream, but you can't exactly remember...
Characters
  • The hero Awoken with no memory. Move forward to find the 7ruth.
  • Zombies Shoot these to kill them. Keep track of your ammunition.

Co-op Plot
Story

A group of art preservationists venture into the deserted mansion of a recently-deceased artist in-search of one of his frescos the local art museum has paid you to retrieve.
Stepping through the doors of the mansion, they slam shut and the ceiling collapses. All the windows are barred, the gardens are thick with high-thorn bushes and the only means of escape is through the dark-infinity and out the other side.
However, various objects in the mansion are possessed and will do anything to drag yourself or one of your colleagues into the hell-mouth under the mansion.
Characters
  • The hero(es) Not-so-able, not-so-tough. Everyone surviving would be a miracle.
  • The inanimate Dolls, plants, statues, even the paintings that cover the walls are out to take your soul.

What is this?
Literally a simple horror game that showcases the basics of the engine it's made for, in the style of Doom and Marathon!

It will be an explore the mansion, solve puzzles, do it either alone or together, sticking together works best, some people would run off to get all the keys and hope the house doesn't eat them, others will move in packs to try and get the objectives done and kill everything.

I hope it will be fun D:

I love the concept, I'll keep an eye on this. Interesting to see horror executed on a 2D-3D engine since those games feel so different.  Cheesy

Actually I pissed-off the entire Marathon community because all my net maps were perfect for modern games like UT3 or HL2:DM so gave players of the Halo series (Where about 25% of the Marathon community comes from) a lot of fun, but the other 75% Marathon'ers complained as they had to stop and think tactically too much and complained that they didn't trip over rocket launchers and ammunition for it.

I think I can get gameplay playable to modern-day standards.
