cannot savegame?

Hello everybody, i got the game cry of fear and everything is working well. But i cannot find a button to save the game. Where can i find this option? Or is it autosave at some checkpoints all the time? Thank you.

You save your game with tape recorders. These are found in pre-placed spots in the map.

Nope. But in Cry of Fear Version 1.0 you can Save and Load using the console.

The game tells me at the first tape recorder, that one can only save in nightmare mode. So where can i find/open the console?

What difficulty are you playing in?
Because i doubt you have unlocked Nightmare mode if you haven't even completed the game.
You should be able to save your game as many times as you want by just going to the tape recorder and pressing E until it opens a save game menu.

It opens, I double click on a empty slot, but afterwards when i go to loadgame the slots are still empty. i'm playing it on easy mode now, and havent finished it yet. But i watched a youtube video and now i know how to open the console and save the games, it works perfectly. thanks for your advice anyway. in my opinion the gamemakers are unrealistic to expect the player playing a whole few hours straight non stop wihtout saving ...

You should update your game, saving trough console is considered cheating and you won't get a grade from that.
The reason they didn't show up is because your Steam wasn't in English.
So either Update the game, or change Steam language to English.

Might be valid if it weren't for the fact that there's a tape recorder every 30 minutes or less...

Yeah there's pretty much tape recorders everywhere. By the way, the first tape recorder appears after like... less than 10 minutes (Not including the intro) Were you that impatient that you thought that the devs just forgot a save feature?
