First boss, assumed glitch

Hey guys, uhm awesome game but the first boss is glitching and i cant hurt him or anything he should be relatively easy i assume but im not so sure. anyways if you could help me that'd be great thanks.

Start a new game, because you just updated while a game was in progress!

I have no idea what you mean and I have no idea how that is relevant

Also, what do you mean you had nothing in progress? What, did you just click new game and then instant boss?

WTF IS UP WITH YOUR LOGIC :stig:

logic is my own and i mean i had no save data when i updated the game and i worked my way to the boss and he wouldnt take damage and because he was the first boss would it be relatively easy to defeat him? hmm?

Out of curiousity were any enemies acting strange prior to the boss?

Shoot him, and when he goes down for a short while, shoot/hit the eye on his back.
