Here's a completely random question:

How many of you would play an updated, Beta 3 RE:CB? Perhaps with the Cry of Fear engine enhancements and, I don't know, fixed camera angles?

A lot of people around me would. We still play Beta2 on a regular basis and it is really fun. Seeing the project continued would be awesome.

In case anyone was ever wondering, RECB has a shit ton of props, and this is after deleting duplicates.

I would love to play. Downloaded Beta 2 and all. Launched the game, found 2 servers through a Steam group and through a comment on ModDB. Unfortunately, both those servers are running on a different version of Beta 2 apparently. One that's not on the ModDB page? Nice.

Playing Beta 1 doesn't help, there's not even a single server. Links to dead pages from ModDB don't help at all either.

I'm definitely gay for an RECB B3 Dan.  Main stuff that needs fixing:
lag - improve VIS areas in maps, reduce the overall number of NPCs in a map at any one time (stopping infinite monster spawns should solve this)
Zombie code - personally I'd rather have zombies melee attack the player than glue themselves to you

Other stuff can come later, but if you can fix those things and make a release shit would be cash.

I disagree, and I'm sure a lot of people do. The zombie grab is a distinct part of RECB and shouldn't go.
