Cry of Fear Co-Op "Steam Validation Rejected"

Hello!

Whenever me and my friends play the Manhunt campaign, the players who are not the host, auto disconnect after the first loading screen. After this an error message appears for the non-host players saying "Steam Validation Rejected." Does anyone know a fix to this problem? Me and my friends would really like to experience Manhunt together, but it does not seem to work. The basic Cry of Fear campaign works though.

Disregard this post, just read that this is not fixable. fek

The only workaround for this is if you proceed to the next level and ask for your friend to join back in. Otherwise, nothing you can do about it.
