Hello, I need help with something, I want to configure my Valve Hammer Editor 3.5 patch, and I saw a topic ''How to set up your Valve Hammer Editor'' but It was old(2013) and it was there at ''GAME EXECUTABLE DIRECTORY (ex: c/Half-Life)'' I saw that I should select C/Program Files x86/Steam/steamapps/username/half-life BUT now from the Steam Update from 2013 the  ''USERNAME'' folder is no longer available and has switched with ''COMMON'' folder, now where should I go to select ?

P.S I don't have Half-Life do I need to have it? 
I'm waiting for a response please, I want to make Cry of Fear maps and I am at the beginning.

But I do not need Half-Life right ? Cause I don't have it.

EDIT: Well you still helped me because AFTER I configure my Valve Hammer I can LEARN, BUT... sadly It doesn't show how to configure and I don't know what to do how to configure it without any username folder
