Quicksave option?
« on: 25 March, 2012, 08:28:53 AM »
So after completing this game a few times, I realized something that would be really useful: a quicksave option. I realized after playing so much that I can't actually qualify for S-rank, because my game crashes so often and I have to save and restart the game occasionally. The quicksave would just make a save, then exit the game (so you can't continue playing after you quicksave), and when you restart and load that save, it is deleted so that you can't go back to it if you die. I only suggest this so that people with unstable games can actually achieve S-rank, and I specify what it does so that it doesn't make the game easier, and you still suffer the penalty of having to restart from the beginning if you die without saving.

Actually, this is different to what got patched out. Using the console to save/load your game was what got patched out. What this person suggests is different, as it simply allows you to restart your game and pick up right where you left off, still suffering the penalties of death.

It's a good idea, though.

Sounds similar to the method used in the MW games where you save and quit...

I would rather have a fix to stop us from crashing every 10 minutes.
