Problem for me is with DS3, it feels like they made the enemies as fast as Bloodborne, but made us a tiny bit faster than previous Souls games but nowhere near as fast as Bloodborne. I remember the network test, we were really fast with most weapons but people moaned for it to be changed so we got our speed nerfed but enemies remained the same speed for some reason. It's most prominent with the Dragon like creatures at Archdragon peak where you can effectively be stunlocked to death if you don't use anything except a straight sword, and even then you're gonna have to rely on luck. You could say the UGS has the hyperarmour to tank it but the things are too fast and stun you before you have the chance to activate it. Sadly voicing any kind of concern over iffy design is met with epic memes so I tend to just keep my mouth shut about it.  :-X

I totally agree.

on another note.

ruMpel, youre talking about doing something new? Instead of CoF in a new engine, why not do a Resident Evil inspired game (not the one you already did) but like that of classic resident evils? fixed camera angles, tank controls, limited inventory, obscure puzzles, the lot.

I think it might be interesting. Just a suggestion <3

They got rid of poise, pvp builds are limited, community is more toxic than ever. But the new gestures make up for it.

This.

Remember Dark souls 1, where you can literally use any type of build in pvp and still have a chance to win if youre good?

I honestly did not even realize this. I think playing so much Bloodborne got me in the mindset of dodgerolling to victory.

Go to the Hollows outside of Firelink with full Havels, and watch them stagger you on the first hit.

Souls games suck

That never really happened, the first game was really fucking bad pvp wise. Good luck finding anyone who isn't decked out in full giants with MOM and a chaos weapon nowdays.
2 was the one that let pretty much everything be viable.

First game was only good because it was what we had at the time and the community wasn't complete trash trying to kill all the fun as quickly as possible.

Great, not a few weeks from college and i just got physically and mentally damaged.
For one, i got an ear infection on my right ear. Can't even open my mouth or eat anything without feeling like someone just lit a small dynamite on the right side of my face. The complimentary fever's not really comfortable, that's for sure.
It just so happens that this month, it's raining season, which means getting wet a lot, lots of cold too, helps with the fever.
College study demands had my mental already down on the ground within the week.
And last, but not least, my laptop's fan's broken, so i had to fan it manually everytime i need to do tasks just so it won't melt and burn on me, in a room filled with 3 ACs.

I miss holidays already.

 :wheelchair:

On a positive note, i've finally finished the Ispitatel Remod (as you guys can see), college schedules made it so that Wednesdays are "red letter days" (though it does means that the other days were multiplied, but eh), and not only i got Doom mods to finish, there's ECWolf mods to play.

Yay.

I'm not sure if you count it as an infection but I got some sharp object stuck in my ear for a few weeks earlier this year.
It was causing some really bad tinnitus which made it super hard to sleep or concentrate.
I now appreciate just sitting in complete silence. Something I took for granted.

Hope you get better Zik! Ear problems are indeed not fun.
