It uses Paranoia's opengl32 renderer made by BuZer and you will not get banned with it. The Bloom mod opengl32.dll is completely different and will result in a VAC ban.

Same filename, different code.

Paranoia is a custom bsp renderer which adds bump mapping, specular, dynamic lighting and other things. The bloom mod... just adds horrible looking bloom to everything.

He was singing in Russian, but all I heard was BRRUFFBURUFFBUCKKLEBURRFF.. WOAAHHH OWWOOH...

I remember when it was released back in 2007, indeed, I was amazed with the engines new features, I couldn't stop fucking around with the specular.
Fantastic mod, in my opinion.

there are vac issues for this game right?
Look at the official ModDB site for PARANOIA and it has info related about this issue.

Got stuck with the first encounter with the zombie things, I killed the two zombies, they took all my pistol ammo and about a hundred knife slashes and then more arrived. Then I tried just avoiding them but everywhere was a dead end. :stig:

Completed it, it truly was short. I don't get why they would go through the trouble of making all these weapons and game mechanics when the player wont even get to use them in the long run since the game ends so fast. I wish they would've stretched the levels longer, maybe a puzzle or two. :stig:

Its not installing right for me anyway, and i just want to make sure
