Error when launching the game.

When i click Launch on the CoF Launcher it saids
"Failed to initalize authentication interface. Exiting..."
Can someone give the solution to fix this error?

"Failed to initialize authentication interface. Exiting..."
Solution: Try turning Steam off, then deleting the clientregistry.blob file in your Steam folder. Then start Steam again
Status: We cannot fix this since this is caused by your bad settings

This happens to me when i let steam idle for too long
but it will get fixed once i restart steam
