Aom dc is unplayable

Well first time when i played aom dc,i played it on my crappy laptop and it worked fine. now i got better one and trying to play it again but something wrong. everytime if i change game from half life to aom dc,its only return to half life and cannot be played (even i already used custom shortcut) anyone have idea? (i asked rumpel about this problem just now)

All i can say is make sure you've installed everything in the right places and then just double check.

Make sure you installed it into the "steamapps/common/half-life" folder, it needs to be installed into the game folder, and you don't need half-life 2, you only need the original "Half-Life" to play the mod.
EDIT: Oh, make sure you have it installed into the correct program files folder also.
