Cry of fear linux and steam os support?

Can you guys get cry of fear on linux like have linux support where linux users can play it on steam for linux? i'd like to see it on linux myself since i have  a linux machine

I think that you can run the HL1 version only. I used to play COF on linux.
You can use an amulator (ex: wine) it run pretty nice :)

Well wine is buggy and other emulators are as well i'd just like to see it playable on linux with the steam for linux

Sadly there will be no further patches to Cry of Fear as development is done :)

Your best bet is an emulator or similar workaround like posted by Nokess^
