Do fans need a Web series?

Not so long time ago, I asked a question in the discussions of Cry of Fear in Steam.

This is very interesting idea: Great atmosphere, good story and interesting characters. All this can be filmed.
Maybe in another country, with different's character's, but preserving the overall idea and atmosphere; because story of this beautifull game looks completed and to follow only the plots of the game will be hard.
Perhaps the idea seems to be a failure, but it is necessary to learn the opinion of the fans and creators and to get their approval.
Among people who love this game, very few filmmakers, but everything happens for the first time.


I would very much like to hear your opinion about this question.

Well it doesn't sound like too bad of an idea. I'll be sure to check it out if anthing like that would happen.

Cry of Fear is pretty contained in itself though. So really nailing this one would be pretty hard.

it sounds intriguing, but you'll have to tell me what's the story going to be based upon in terms of cry of fear before i'm hooked

cry of fear was pretty much wrapped up story wise, there wasn't much plot holes so you'd have to do it with another character or an alternate universe-type deal

Too much time has passed, I think. Any help would be very helpful.
It is necessary to act as soon as possible, or to collect materials, information and opinions on this matter, and then proceed, but very fast and qualitatively.
There are not so many CoF fans stayed, and enough time has passed. I guess, We are the last
We must do something incredible. Something that will make it clear to the rest of the fans that now the CoF "universe" is over, that all we wanted to achieve is done.
And we all can breathe peacefully! And let go of this magnificent story.

This is a Key-question, about story.
It seems to me, Cry of Fear it's not just a game, these feelings, sadness, sorrow, like painting or music - piece of art.
And this web-series, when he will begin, will be piece of art like this game. With different story, maybe. But you understood me

Will be hard, will be expensive, but this is duty which we need to pay to the developers for their efforts not only in the form of money.
