Soundtrack DLC
« on: 04 May, 2018, 08:55:09 PM »
I've mentioned this to both the developers and on the Steam community hub various times in the past but I thought this would be the appropriate place.

Now I'm aware the soundtrack is available via https://store.cdbaby.com/cd/andreasronnberg but I already own this and I want a way to tether Cry of Fear to my Steam account. Paid DLC is the only way to do this for free games or via a key given from the developer.

Since Valve takes 15% of sales, why not just bump the price up by like $5 and sell the Cry of Fear Soundtrack as a DLC for the game at like $20, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, I'm sure many others would too. I've never understood why this isn't a thing anyway. I mean if you take a look at Half-Rats: Parasomnia for example, that has a Soundtrack DLC for £0.79 and it tethers the game to account.

I love Cry of Fear, it's one of my favourite games (not just Half-Life mods). I currently own over 10,400 games on Steam but not having this show up in my library when uninstalled really annoys me.

Am I on my own here or would others like to see this as well?
