Nightmare Mode Tapes? (Saving)

So is there really only one tape in the entire game? Or is there another one later on?

Moreover, and I know this is kind of cheating, but is there a way to spawn in more? Or cheat the save system in some way?

I only ask because it's impossible to complete nightmare mode with the way this game is set up.

You'll be able to save only five times during nightmare mode. It's been a while since I played it, so I don't remember if you have all those saves on one cassette or if you find more, but you have those five.

It's not impossible to beat nightmare, I've beaten it myself many times. While you're supposed to use unlocks to beat it on that difficulty, it's possible to beat it without, though it's just that, a nightmare of a difficult feat to accomplish

I'd say that completing game on nightmare difficulty is nearly impossible because of permament crashes. For example, I saved my progress after escaping Carcass, next save I planned to do before train departure, but game crashed when I brought fuses to subway. I was about to break my keyboard cause of this.
