[FATAL ERROR] Could not find filesystem dll to load.

when trying to start the game through the game launcher that I activated through steam library.

Things I have tried:
-verifying game integrity through steam game options  > didn't work
- re installing the game > didn't work
-redownloaded the missing files from https://www.mediafire.com/?4pplfik63jpwswf thanks to 不幸だのBulletProof > worked but created another error with "could not load hw.dll "
-redownloaded the hw.dll file from https://www.mediafire.com/?9l4ved1r97h6cxq thanks to 不幸だのBulletProof > didn't work
-after a 3rd reinstallation through steam the game seems to work without errors

After re-installing, does it have the 2 required dlls in your Common/Cry of Fear/ folder?

As stated in the filesystem error, it requires

• FileSystem_Steam.dll
• FileSystem_Stdio.dll

If its missing, let us know. If not, I have no other solutions.

After reinstalling I am missing those 2 dlls!
Where can I manually download them and add the to the game folder?

It's not missing, it just couldn't load.
I tried changing my hw.dll with yours but same error.

Have you tried verifying the integrity of your steam cache for the game after downloading? Some times that helps procuring/fixing files that are downloaded wrong even from a second download

Re-install Cry of Fear and disable any background programs running when attempting to run Cry of Fear (Skype, X-Fire, etc...)
